12 hours of babies & more!

I know 12 hours is nothing for mothers, but yesterday my day was packed with babies! It was fun though, I have the best job ever! First I got to watch baby Luke (who is 2.5 months old) and play princess with McKenzie (who is 3). After a crazy ordeal, which resulted in me being late, I ran over to Joshua and Alisha's to watch them so their mom could meet someone for lunch. It all worked out in the end though because the lady she was meeting with ended up being even later. After being there for a couple of hours I went back to play with McKenzie and Luke until their mom finally got home. And then I had about an hour break before going to play with Isabel (6) and Abigail (1.5).

I didn't sleep well the night before, but I was surprisingly not that tired yesterday...until I got home. By the time I got home I was exhausted. That was partly because I'm getting sick though. I went to bed last night at like 10:30 or something. I slept until 11 this morning though and it was great! I also didn't eat much yesterday... which I credit to being really busy and slightly sick. I had a bowl of cheerios for breakfast, a small bowl of cheerios for lunch (which I wasn't even really hungry for, I just kind of ate because I figured I needed something), and then we ended up getting those new little Sammie's or whatever from Quiznos that apparently only have 200 calories. They were pretty good. I never really got hungry during the day though, it was weird. But the Sammie's are pretty good, and cheap (only $2 each). They're small though, but that's good for me because I don't eat a lot anyway.

I woke up today with my throat still hurting, a little worse than yesterday. I also cleaned my room. It wasn't bad, it was just clothes everywhere, and it only took about 20 minutes. I had just been putting it off all week.

Oh, we went to rent a movie last night and we couldn't really find anything, so we ended up renting the first season of LOST. I've heard it was a really good show. The new season comes on next week, but I doubt we finish everything up until then by next week. But, it's fun to have another show to watch since we're done with Friends. I hope I like it though. it seems good so far (only watched 1 episode) but it seems like there is some weird monster/alien/sci-fi thing involved, which I don't like stuff like that, but we'll see I guess.

Tonight we are working at the St.Mary's auction. We did it last year with Kappa Delta, and it was actually pretty fun. But this year since neither me or Beth are actively involved in KD, it was hard to get a group of people together to work it again, so it's just us. Apparently it's a little different this year, so hopefully it works out. I just hope I don't feel like crap the whole time.

We thought about going to church early tomorrow and checking out the different small groups. But that depends on how late the auction goes tonight, especially since we are both kind of sick. If not this week, I think we're going to go next week.

Anyway...I think I'm going to go eat some ice cream frozen yogurt. Sore throats are a good excuse for that!
