Sunday was a beautiful day for pumpkin picking! The weather was perfect.. sunny & a little bit chilly!
We met up with Mindy and her family at Huber's. I kind of felt like we were impeding on their little family outing since it was Mindy, her husband and kids, and I think all of her in-laws and her neice... and then me and Josh. But we had fun! I also ran into my cousin Brad and his family while we were there which was a fun surprise! Definitely wasn't expecting to see them since they live over an hour away, so it was good to see them.
We took a tractor ride to the pumpkin patch. Mindy's youngest kids, Jordyn and Austin, loved it!
Which pumpkins should we pick?
Josh's pick! Only the best!
Mindy & Elizabeth looking for a pumpkin!
Mindy's husband, Bert, helped Jordyn and Austin pick out their pumpkins.
Josh finally found us 2 good pumpkins! We're going to have a pumpkin carving contest and make pumpkin pie!
Mindy and I came up with a new workout routine for our group power class... group pumpkin, anyone?
Then we went to play with the baby goats!
They definitely didn't mind us feeding them grass. They acted like it was the best thing ever, even though it was just plain old grass. The poor brown goat got his head stuck in the fence.
We tried to help him out, but he wouldn't let us. His poor little horns started bleeding, which I didn't even know was possible. Eventually he got out though, don't worry.
After we picked our pumpkins and fed the baby goats, we hopped back on the tractor for the ride back. Mindy's cute little neice Madison waved bye-bye to the baby goats. Isn't she adorable?!
Thanks for inviting us out, Mindy!!
Isn't fall the best?!
