An exhibit of our week.

I started a 3-week CNA class on Monday which has been keeping me super busy. It's from 9:30am-5:30pm... like a dang full-time job. But it was either this or take a 4 hour class twice a week next semester, and this way knocks it all out in 3 weeks plus I'll be certified then too. I have no idea why being a CNA is mandatory for my sonography program, but it is. Anyway, the class part is over tomorrow which means we start clinicals on Monday... I'm kind of nervous, but I have a pink stethoscope which makes everything better. It's pretty awesome.

So anyway, here's a little snapshot of our week, beginning with last weekend.

Fall treats baking party.

I invited Josh's mom (my BFF) and sister Amy over to bake some fall treats! RJ, Gage, Morgan and Cherrish came too so it was a party! We made some pies, cookies, and I made a pumpkin roll for the first time! I have to say, I did a pretty good job!

Halloween happened.

And uhh... we set a new record this year. We had a grand total of..... ZERO trick-or-treaters! Not a one! what the heck? We usually only get like 5... but still. We live in a neighborhood full of kids! Granted, it's not a huge neighborhood and we do live kind of at the back on a cul-de-sac.. maybe that has something to do with it?

Yes, that is the angry birds and her papa is so proud. (do a search of the blog for angry birds and you'll see how I feel about this... haha!)

Another busy weekend ahead and I'm pretty excited. Except this one's also gonna be full of homework :-/ Oh well, gotta keep it balanced right?
