Cousin & Tucker's Wedding

*WARNING: Lots of pictures!!!*

On Friday Mom, Josh, and I packed up and headed north for Alyssa & Tucker's wedding. I can't believe my Cousin is actually married!!! I remember when we were little kids... when we made forts in my closet, played with baby dolls, built alligators on the beach, made mountains of pillows at the bottom of the stairs and jumped onto them... I remember when she turned 16 and I thought she was soooo old {I was only 14 at the time} and then she drove the 2 hours to our house all by herself and I thought she was such a GROWN UP! Now she's 26 and she's married!! I guess she's a real grown up now!!

Anyway. We had the rehearsal dinner Friday night. It was pretty un-eventful other than the fact that the pastor probably thought we were the worst group of bridesmaids ever because we were so loud and goofy!

That night we had the WORST time trying to sleep because the man in the room next to us was snoring so loud that we could hear him through the walls! It was awful. At first I thought the noise must have been something else because I didn't know it was possible to hear someone snoring that loudly through the wall!

Saturday morning started with Audrey {Alyssa's mom} curling my hair. I thought I looked a little like George Washington:

It ended up loosening up nicely though.

In the meantime, Mom and I jumped on the beds {instead of painting our nails} because that's what you do when you stay in hotels!!!

I'm surprised she actually jumped with me! It was fun!!

Then I went to check on Cousin. She needed "something borrowed" so I let her use one of my bobbi pins.

We finished getting ready then headed to the church for pictures.

Then Josh and I had a small photo shoot because I've never ever seen him in a tie and who knows when the occasion will happen again. I had to document it!

Bubby turned around in the middle of the wedding and just gave a big thumbs up! So hilarious!! We were all cracking up! I'm glad Josh was prepared and actually got a shot of it!

I also made it back down the aisle without falling, although I was looking a little possessed. I will blame it on the lack of food. By that point it was dinner time and all I had eaten all day was an egg mcmuffin from McDonald's and some Cheeze-Its.

We ended up leaving that night since we had a 4 hour drive home and lots to do on Sunday. I was supposed to catch Cousin's bouquet but unfortunately we left before they did that! But I got to do the dollar dance with Cousin {who totally smoked Tucker}, eat cupcakes, toast the couple, and see lots of family I don't get to see that often - including Aunt Marilyn and Uncle Don from NC that I haven't seen in probably 10 years!

I had blast and I'm so happy that Cousin allowed me to have a part in her special day! I love you, Cousin!

Congratulations, Alyssa & Tucker!!!
