Y'all just wait til I have kids.

If you think the puppy pictures are bad (and I haven't even been posting them all... I've been trying to refrain myself!! seriously, on my Flickr January 2011 set there are 50 photos and I think Lola is in like 48 of them), the baby photos will be endless on this blog I am sure. I can't help it, I just think she is the cutest, sweetest little thing ever. I know it's probably really annoying and you guys are all like Yeah, we get it, you got a puppy and I know that no one else ever thinks your puppy is as cute as you do.. but guess what? This is my blog and on my blog there are puppy pictures!!! :)

In recent Lola news, she is a little piggy. I think she would eat her whole bag of puppy food if we let her have at it. She also thinks she should be entitled to Kosmo's food and it's not uncommon for us to have to hold her back (as pictured above) so Kosmo can eat.

Speaking of Kosmo, he loves Lola and the other night he sat a toy down in front of her and waited patiently for her to wake up and play with him. This is also a common occurrence and I just think it's adorable. They are gonna be BFF's.

Loly Poly got her first bath the other night.

Naptime with Papa.

So anyway, in non-Lola news, on MLK Jr. Day I got my eye dilated.

It's the big creepy one on the right if you couldn't tell. It was sexy. And the picture doesn't do it justice. When I got home that night I told Josh to look into my eyes and he thought I was being really lovey dovey cheesy and then he realized I wasn't and just wanted to show him my big creepy alien eye. He loves me.

(I got it dilated because I am having LASIK enhancement surgery at some point soon.)

I don't really have much else to update about. My life right now pretty much revolves around work, marathon training, and Lola (duh). My leg is feeling better since Saturday's 8-mile-turned-5-mile run but that doesn't really mean anything as it always feels better when I quit running. I have not run or exercised at all since Saturday and I know that's only been 3 days but I feel really fat and lazy. But I know rest is important (as is cross-training, which I need to do more of!!!) so I am trying to do lots of stretching, foam rolling, and letting the leg rest and hopefully heal. 5 miles scheduled for tonight's training run so we'll see how it goes!!!

This whole IT band thing is really putting a damper on my training. I really want to be excited about all my runs but instead I'm always super nervous to see how it's going to go and if the next run is gonna be the one that takes me out of training. All the coaches seem to think that this is an injury that I can maintain and work through though, so hopefully they are right! If not, I guess I will have to suck it up and go to physical therapy!

Check back soon.. I will have answers to some frequently asked running questions I've gotten lately and some recipes!!

Happy Wednesday!!! :) (am I the only one that feels like it's Tuesday?)
