My new favorite smoothie!

I came up with this smoothie recipe recently and have been drinking it for breakfast almost daily!! I was getting bored with my regular strawberry, banana, chocolate protein powder smoothie. (It's good, but day after day I needed something fresh!!) I always drink a smoothie for breakfast, but it's also perfect for a post-workout recovery drink, snack, or just a healthy summer treat!!

The ingredients:

  • Trader Joe's Berry Medley (frozen strawberries, blackberries, blueberries, and raspberries)
  • baby spinach
  • orange peach mango juice
  • Jillian Michael's vanilla whey protein powder - 1 scoop (available on Amazon.com)
  • sometimes I add a banana. I forgot to this morning, and couldn't really tell a difference in taste at all.
  • ice cubes (I usually add 4-5, but it just depends on how thick you want it)
(I don't really measure anything except the protein powder... I just add "some." 
smoothieI just add it all... fruit, then spinach, protein powder, juice, and ice cubes... then blend until smooth.
