Well, my name is Lynn {but you probably already figured that out} and this is my blog! Welcome, I'm so happy you're here.
I began blogging in 2002 as a way to keep in touch with my oldest brother who moved away to college. It has since then evolved into so much more -- not only a creative outlet for me, but also a home for all the little things in life that I want to remember and a reminder to me of how great life really is. I invest in this blog because in doing so I find myself looking more deeply for the beauty in life and consequently finding it in more places. That, and I'm finding less and less time to scrapbook these days.
I have a million and one interests -- most of which I like to pretend I'm good at. I recently decided to see where my passion for photography takes me because I really do love it. Really and truly. Running is another one -- it has proven to be good for my soul, as it has taught me that I am capable of FAR more than I ever dreamed possible. Crossing the finish line after 13.1 miles? Coolest feeling in the world. I also like to do cooking experiments in my kitchen, travel around the world, cross things off of my bucket list, sing in the car, and just create memories with people I love.
I also have a cute boyfriend named Josh but he doesn't like it when I call him cute so don't tell him I did. Shhh. You'll probably see him a lot on this blog because I kind of like him. :o)
This blog is just a brief glimpse into my life. Which is a pretty great one really. Thanks for allowing me to share it with you! :)

About the Blog
I originally started blogging in 2002 on Livejournal. It's kind of nice that I have some form of documentation of my life since I was 16 years old, although obviously my blogging "style" has changed quite a bit over the years. I have thought about importing the old entries to this blog, which I may or may not ever end up doing, but so far I've decided to start this blog as a "new chapter" starting with 2008!
